God:
|
The name "God" is an Agregeious Mistranslation of "gods" in the Hebrew and "theos" in the Greek. The name "God" is nowhere to be found in Scripture. Additionally, the "common noun", "god", is also nowhere to be found in Scripture. Everywhere the Hebrew Word Translated as "God" (Strong's OT:0430) exists, it is a Masculine Plural Common Noun, "gods", as clearly shown by the Morphology Codes. This Mistranslation is cause for many stumbling blocks in understanding The WORD. Use caution as you study and dig deeper to ensure an Accurate Understanding.

JCSS:
|
The John Clark Studies System (JCSS) is the computer system, and it's multitude of programmed procedures, used to generate the web pages found on the web site.

Levels (edition):
|
JCS has created 4 Levels of Variation to determine Bible editions (Variation Combinations) and has assigned Level IDs to each Level as described below. It is Important to Note that the Values of the Level IDs hold no significant value other than edition Grouping and are subject to change as Bibles are added to the JCSS. Immediate access to a List of each Level's Level IDs is available by clicking on any of the IDs in the edition Code. There, you can see a Concatenated string that reveals all Variations compared for that Level of that edition. This Set of Variations is what constitutes a JCS Bible edition. The Only Bibles that contain that edition are shown on the Resulting Page.

edition L4:

Commas Before Spaces:
Level 4 includes ALL Variations. The last set of numbers in the edition Code indicates the Level 4 ID for that Bible. Level 4 Variations Include the greatest number of Variations because of Strict Comparison. These Comparisons Include All Variations; Translations, Spelling, Punctuation, Accents, and Captialization of Common Nouns.

edition L3:

Commas Before Spaces, Spelling, Punctuation, and Accents:
Level 3 contains Actual Variations: The third set of numbers in the edition Code indicates the Level 3 ID for that Bible. Level 3 Variations reduce the number editions by ignoring Spelling, Punctuation, and Accents:

edition L2:
99-99-99-999

Commas Before Spaces, Spelling, Punctuation, Accents, Captialization of Common Nouns (including Spirit), and Synonyms (including Spirit/spirit).:
Level 2 Includes Significant Variations. The second set of numbers in the edition Code indicate the Level 2 ID for that Bible. Level 2 Variations reduce the number of editions by ignoring everything from the previously mentioned Levels Ignored plus Captialization of Common Nouns (Except for "God" and "Spirit") and Synonyms. These Synonyms include: sins/sin, or Sheba/and Sheba, Emori/Emorite/Amorite, Geba/Gaba, Spirit/spirit, fleeth/flieth, aparte/forward/farther/further/forth, and bewrayeth/betrayeth/betrays/denudes/doth make manifest/makes known. The Context around "sin/sins" in 2 Chronicles 33:19 negates any value from the singular/plural Morphology and is therefore considered a synonym. . Although "God" is actually a Common Noun in Scrpture, this Truth is ignored throughout for purposes of Identifying editions.
|
edition L1:
99-99-99-999
|
Insiginficant Verses and Everything from Previous Levels:
Level 1 Includes Critical Variations Only. The first set of numbers in the edition Code indicate the Level 1 ID for that Bible. Level 1 Variations Include the least number of editions because it includes the least number of Comparisons. Comparisons are Limited to 5 Comparisons (Exodus 23:23, Ruth 3:15, Jeremiah 34:16, Matthew 4:1, and Acts 12:4). JCS considers all other Comparisons Insignificant in understanding The WORD of Yehvah.
Note that it is not the Translation of Exodus 23:23 that makes it signifcant to JCS but rather the fact the uniqueness of the situation. The word "and" is Inserted numerous times throughout The Bible, usually for clarity. What makes this Comparison Different is that it separated editions. Everywhere else "and" was inserted, it was inserted in every edition. That is not the case here. As of the time of this writing, JCS has not found any Bible of Oxford Origin that includes "and" in "and the Hivites". Additionally, Only 2 Bibles have been Printed by Cambridge that "Do NOT" include the Inserted "and". One was printed at both Oxford and Cambridge for the Society to Promote Bible Knowledge so it was Printed at Cambridge but is not of Cambridge Origin. The other was a Modified 1611 edition, Word for Word, with the Long "s" replaced with an "s". This Bible was also not of Cambridge Origin. Because Cambridge seems to Insert "and" and Oxford does Not, Bibles JCS is not able to Identify are Identified as "Oxford Variations" if they "Do Not" include "and", "Cambridge Variations" if they Do. JCS acknowledges this as an unexact science with the possibility of misrepresentation but the multitude of Unidentifiable editions is large and determing edition IDs is tricky at best.

edition Level IDs are subject to change so this Example is subject to change if additonal Bibles are Added to JCSS. At the time of this writing, this edition Code included the Original 1611 Oxford edition. Clicking on the Level 4 Level ID will confirm whether the Example is still accurate or not. The point remains the same.
Using the Information above, we can see that this Bible, regardless of what it points to "now", is assigned the following Level IDs: Level 1: 08; Level 2:10, Level 3: 25, Level 4: 006.
Note that it is not the Translation of Exodus 23:23 that makes it signifcant to JCS but rather the fact that it is so unique. The word "and" is Inserted numerous times through The Bible, usually for clarity. The other was a Modified 1611 edition, Word for Word, with the Long "s" replaced with an "s". This Bible was also not of Cambridge Origin.
Because Cambridge seems to Insert "and" and Oxford does Not, Bibles JCS cannot Identify are assinged as "Oxford Variations" if they "Do Not" include "and" and "Cambridge Variations" if they Do. JCS acknowledges this as an unexact science with the possibility of misrepresentation but the multitude of Unidentifiable editions is large and determing edition IDs is tricky at best.

Standard Edition:
|
The 1769 Oxford edition is Referred to as "The Standard Edition". The problem with this is that no one uses the Original 1769 edition anymore so how can it be The Standard. The Original contained the long "s" and has been supersceded by later editions. At this point, JCS has not yet been able to determine any Actual "Standard Edition". The Quest to figure this out continues.
A Detailed Study may be conducted in the future...

Strong's Number:
|
Strong's Numbers are Word Tags assigned to each Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek Word found in the Original Manuscripts. The provide the Relattionship Between the Eglish Words and the Original Words. These Tags are what enables those of Issue];
+[*
us who speak English ONLY to Dig behind each English Word to get to the bottom of things; the Original Word. Every Bible Study Tool of any worth at all includes Strong's Numbers. It is a worthless Tool without them.
But the use of the term "Strong's Number" is not as clear cut as one might believe.
- The Original "Strong's Numbers" were first compiled by James Strong and his team in the mid 1800's. The results were first published in The Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible (Strong's Concordance) in 1890. The Concordance is a Required Tool for Digging Into The WORD. A Number of Hardcopy Strong's Concordance Editions are available. JCS has yet to Identify the Differences between the Original and the Revised/Updated Issues. This Task is "In The Queue".
Errors have been Identified in the Original Strong's Concordance and Scholars have developed a scheme to correct those Errors without affecting the Original Numbers. JCS would love to find a cross-reference list of these changes. Until then, it must be kept in mind that all Reports based on Strong's Numbers "MAY" not be 100% Accurate. For ths most part, it is believed that the changes have minimul impact and are mostly just a variation of the saem English Word.. The Task of Further Exploration on this is "In The Queue".
- The Original "Strong's Numbers" do not separate out the articles and conjunctions. Strong's does not identify the Difference Between "earth", "the earth", or "and the earth". They are All Strong's OT:776. The Updated Strong's Numbers are the same way.
- Tyndale House has done the wonderful work of Identifying each and every English Word, including the Articles and the Conjuctions. During their process of completing this task, they further identified Errors in the Strong's Numbers. Sadly, a link between the three Variations of Word Tags prevents JCS from cross refeferencing. This is JCS's most critical Task but is waiting for a method to make this Relationship to become available. The same applies to the Updated Strong's Tags which JCS has not even seen available anywhere at this time.

Yaweh:
|
Yaweh is the Translieterated Proper Name of our creator god according to Strong's. It is translated "the Lord" (Strong's H3068). Yaweh is "the Father Above", god above All gods. The same Hebrew Word is Translated by some as Yehovah. See below.
|
Yehovah:
|
Yehovah is one Pronunciation of Strong's H3068. It is the same Hebrew Word Pronounced Yaweh. The "Yehovah" Pronunciation appears to stem from the Massoretic Manuscript, the same text the KJV is Translated From. "Yaweh" appears to stems from the Strong's Transliteration of the Word but also includes a plethora of additional backing. This subject is one for the elders as the answer lies too deep for the common man to discern with the lack of evidence readily available. JCS leaves the personal relationship between you and your god to you. Either of these names is likely acceptable to Yaweh when the person using the Name Believes it to be Accurate. JCS has used Both in the past but has most recently been drawn to the use of Yaweh after watching a very detailed, evidence rich, video on the subject.
|
Yesus:
|
"Yesus" is the Accurate Translation of Strong's NT2424, the Greek Word Egregiously Mistranslated as "Jesus" in The Bible. There is a "slight" possibility that his name is "Iyesus" (ee-yeah-suse), which is the Translieteration (Romanization) of the Greek. But JCS does not believe this to be his name.
Scripture itself reveals this Truth. We are 100% certain that his name is not "Jesus". He was Hebrew, with a Hebrew name. The Hebrew language does not even include the letter "J", or the "J" sound. His Hebrew Name is then written in the Greek, which also does not include the letter "J". But His True Name can be easily discerned using the Transliterations found in the Strong's Concordance Dictionary. The evidence is clear. You can know, and you can know that you know, the True Name of our Saviour. JCS considers it Imparative to Know His True Name. How else can we pray to Him, or ask our heavenly father for anything in His Name, if we don't even know what His Name is?
The Details of the Study of his True Name takes pages to document. But the short of it is this: By comparing someone else's name that begins with the letter "J", and is found in both the Old and New Covenants, we can learn how Hebrew Names Translated as "J" Names in the Greek, were determined. This will reveal exactly how to Accurately Translate "Jesus". The Proper Name "Joseph" is found in both. In the Hebrew, "Joseph" comes from Strong's OT:3130. Strong specifies the Transliteration and Pronunciation as: "Yowceph", pronounced "yo-safe'". "Joseph"'s True, Accurately Tranlated Name, is "Yoseph", with the "e" pronounced as "ay". As is CLEARLY seen, his name begins with a "Y", NOT a "J".
When we take this knowledge to the New Covenant, we can determine how Hebrew Names were written in the Greek. We find that "Joseph", in the Greek, comes from Strong's NT:2501. Strong's specifies the Transliteration and Pronunciation as: "Ioseph", pronounced "ee-o-safe". "Joseph"'s True, Accurately Tranlated Greek Name, is "Ioseph", pronounced "ee-o-safe'". Again, the "e" in the Transliteration is pronounced as "ay". Just as there is no "J" in the Hebrew or the Greek, there is no "Y" in the Greek. The Hebrew is full of "Y"s. Understanding this, we can use Transliterations to determine His Name.
Being armed with this information, we are now ready to compare the Greek Transliteration of Joseph ("Ioseph"), with the Greek Transliteration of Jesus, to determine His True Name. Strong's NT:2501 is the Greek Word Translated "Jesus". Strong's specifies the Transliteration and Pronuciation as: "Iesous", pronounced "ee-ay-sooce'". Comparing His Name, "Iesous", to Joseph's name, "Ioseph", clearly reveals that the "I" in the Transliterated Greek, when combined with the following vowel, is Accurately Translated into English as a "Y". The combination "Io", as seen in "Ioseph" is pronounced "ee-oh". The combination "Ie", as seen in "Iesous", is pronounced "ee-ay". Just try pronouncing "ee-oh" or "ee-ay" repeateldly faster and faster and you will find yourself saying "yo" or "yay" (with a touch of "ee" at the beginning). The "Ie"/"Io" combination is as close as one can get to a "Y" in the Greek. Knowing this, it becomes Absolutely Clear that the True Name of the son of Yehovah, our saviour who's blood was shed for our sins, as clearly shown in the Greek, is "Yesus", pronounced "Yay-suse".
How the letter "J" came to be used for Proper Hebrew and Greek Names in the English Bible is a complete mystery to JCS and smacks of a conspiricay. Those who hold the KJV above the Original Manuscripts need to be aware that the Orignal 1611 King James Version, and all Bibles Printed prior and into 1613, Translated His Name Accurately as "Iesus". The earliest Bible Known To JCS to use the word "Jesus" was the "1629 Cambridge KJV". See the JCS List of Known KJV Bibles Grouped By Iesus/Jesus for a complete list as Known to JCS.
If you have audio on your device, you can confirm the name yourself simply by listening to it. Just visit the Blue Letter Bible web stie's Strong's Concordance for NT:2424 (G2424) and Click on the Speaker Icon under "Pronunciation" .

covenant:
|
JCS uses the word "Covenant", instead of the Mistranslation "Testament", throughout (Old Covenant and New Covenant). See "Testament".
|
edition:
|
The term "edition" (lower case) is used by JCS to Identify the Multitude of Variations in Text that have occurred through the Years. Any Variation in the Combination of Variations constitutes a new edition. JCS initially referred to these Variations as "Versions" of the King James Version. JCS assigns edition Codes and edition IDs to each edition to a) Identify Different Levels of Variaion for each, and b) provide keys for internal computer processing. Level IDs provide the means to analyze Different Degrees of Variation.
|
editon Code:
|
JCS has assigned an "edition Code" to each Bible edition to Identify the 4 Levels of Variation found in that Bible. The Code is 12 characters long appearing as 99-99-99-999, Each set of numbers in the Code indicates a Level ID for the Specified Level starting left to right (L1-L2-L3-L04): For clarification, see "Levels of Variation".
|
editon ID:
|
The "edition ID" is a unique ID assinged by JCS to each edition for internal computer processing. Typical IDs include the Year of Publication if known (or guessed) plus "Camb", "Oxfo", "Bark", or some other unitque 4 Charachter Descriptor plus a single Character at the end. Example: The Original 1611 KJV was Printed in 1611 by Robert Barker. It is assinged the edition ID "1611Barka". The "a" at the end allows for Variations of the 1611Bark edition. Non-KJV Bibles currently end with the Character "n". These IDs are not of any importance to the user but recognizing them can help to quickly identify the edition once they are learned.

testament:
|
The Bible, as revealed in it's front pages, contains the Old and New "Testaments". This word "Testament" obviously comes from the New "Testament" of "The Bible" (occurs 14 times) since it is nowhere to be found in the Old. Discounting the "inserted" word "Testament" in Hebrews 9:18 ("to provide clarity"), this Egregious Mistranslation of Strong's NT:1242 occurs in 13 of the 33 occurrences (42% of the time). JCS believes this smacks of conspiracy and does not understand how the Translators determined when to "Mistranslate" it and when not to. A "Testament" is "proof" (Mirriam-Webster). It is recountance of proof by one party "to" another. Mistranslating "Covenant" as "Testament" causes a serious misunderstanding of what the New "Testament" Actually is. When we understand that the New "Testament" is, in reality, the New "Covenant", it changes everything. A "Covenant" is very different than a "Testament". The word "Covenant" is defined as a "contract". It is a "mutual contract" by two parties "with" each other. There is NO "Obligation" in a "Testament". A "Covenant" is "Nothing But" the Obligations of "Both" parties to each other. JCS uses the terms Old Covenant and New Covenant throughout to Accurately describe the 2 Covenants. The New Testament Negates the requirement to Keep Yehovah's Commandments. The New Covenant Demands it.
A Detailed Study is "In the Queue".
